Outfits Galore and Pretty Things

Here are a few shots from outfits I have worn over past couple weeks. And just pretty things I have been loving lately.

I have a love for styling clothing. I enjoy putting things together. From start to finish, I love seeing it all come together. It probably takes me about 5-10 minutes to pick out what to wear based on my mood and what I'm doing that day.

P.S. Don't forget to sign up for Ebates to earn cash back on all your online purchases plus get $10 gift card to Target when you spend only $25 at your favorite online retailer! One of my favorite Sam Edelman Leopard Heels.  And look, Masha has her own pair too.

J Crew Mint Sweater
Sam Edelman Nude Pumps

I love J Brand Jeans, they hug all the right curves.  I normally wear a size 25 in their jeans.  It's a tight fit but jeans tend to stretch out so it's better to go down a size.  I always suggest trying jeans on :)

Trouve Pink Top via Nordstom
High Waisted Black Shorts (older)
Halogen Black Patent Wedges
House of Harlow Sunnies

I adore high waisted shorts.  I paired it with a cute blue belt at the waist and you can't go wrong with black patent wedges.  They are comfortable yet you still get that height.

One of my favorite Home Decor books: Domino
Kate Spade Earrings
Henri Bendel Bangles via PoshMark
Essie Tour De Finance via PoshMark

(Download your PoshMark App for your iPhone and use code HPQHN and get $5.00)

Lucky Brand Shirt via Ross
Red Shorts viaTarget
Sam Edelman Leopard Stacked Heels

I love finding deals at stores like Ross.  It's really luck and time on what you will find there but I have seen brands like Lucky, Guess, Free People, Calvin Klein, etc.
Target makes great affordable shorts.  Definitely worth taking a look.

Gemma Pastel Plaid Silk Top via Ebay
Joes Lilac Jeans
Tory Burch Revas in Pink
Kate Spade Hot Pink Purse

Who doesn't love a flowy silk top especially in soft pastel colors.  I love the plaid print, very unexpected.  I bought this top new off Ebay for $14.
And of course Joe's Jeans makes the best legging denim.  These are super soft!
I adore Tory Burch Revas.  I love these in Pink.  (One of my favorite colors, can't go wrong)

La Blanca Swim Suit

Recently bought this one piece red number at TJ Maxx.  Love the retro vibe.

J Crew Gingham Shirt in Pink
Mother Denim Curfew Jeans
Kate Spade Hot Pink Bag

I love the 70's look.  And flares always seem to elongate the legs.

Had to post this! One of my fav sayings by Walt Whitman :)

I have been loving Organic Chocolate Milk and Mustard (not together of course, lol)

Black Top via Saks

Nordstrom Buys and Recent Outfits: Truth and Pride Blazer and Paige Paloma Leather Pants, etc.

I have been busy lately with play dates and enjoying as much as I can of the last months of summer heat. I practically live at the pool. Since it has been so hot here, instead of getting my cardio through speed walking (with the stroller and baby in tow), I have been swimming. Thankfully I have the gym right next to me too with free day care.

I can't wait till it cools down! I have been doing some fall shopping to prepare myself for the cooler days ahead. I'm already pulling out my boots (I am a bootaholic!).

Here are a few outfits and snap shots from dressing room fittings.

Mauve Top via TJ Maxx Sold Out (Similar here)
Black Booties (older)

Love this outfit I wore earlier last week on a rainy day! Notice the pony tail, yep, I have been styling this lately.  My hair is getting so long, I'm trying to find new ways to style :)

Sequin Top via TJ Maxx Sold Out (Similar)

This outfit rocks! It would be an AWESOME date night or "girls night out" Outfit.  Not showing too much, yet still flirty and young!

Trouve Snake Print Top
Sam Edelman Nude Pumps Sold Out (Similar ones by Sam Edelman)

I wore this outfit last week on a cooler day, and I love how the jacket tones down the brighter colors.  The Kelly Green Jeans are amazing.  Paige Denim really know what is going on when it comes to fit and style.

Had to include this photo.  I am trying on a DVF blazer, love the color.  It comes with a belt so it would be more fitted around the waist.

Look at my child, lol.  Love her!  She is trying on a DVF red number, and totally rocking it!

I am loving this blouse.  Feels like heaven against the skin.  And the jeans are just perfect.  Fit like a glove!

Saw this beautiful DVF blouse.  Love the pink, of course :)

Close up on Nordstom Purchases...these leather pants are so HOT! I ordered the xs because I feel like pants/jeans seem to stretch out over the course of a day.  They fit snug and comfortable.  I might also order a Small just in case I get pregnant  (they are that gorgeous!)

Thrifted Blumarine Wool Camel Dress.  How timeless is this dress?!  I got a steal at $28 and my MIL tailored it for me.

French Connection Striped Sweater via Saks

I love French Connection for their modern take on clothing.  This sweater is super fitted (I got the xs) and it is simply amazing! It hugs all the right curves.

Another shot of denim jacket/green jeans

Saw this DVF Faux fur coat.  Reminded me of a black sheep.  Maybe if I still lived in Seattle ;)

Some Beauty purchases from Ulta.  I had a coupon and decided to hit them up since I needed mascara.  I normally order the Bad Gal, but the girls convinced me to try the "They're Real" and i'm loving it.  It curls and lengths and no flaking.  I also love the Yes to Blueberries wipes.  My fav from all their line of wipes.  The sale girl even included a cute makeup bag with some free samples even though I didn't make the $25 Benefit total.  What can I say, awesome customer service :)

How GORGEOUS are these scarfs?! (Via Saks)

Oh lookie here, my princess at the pool.  Always on her tippy toes :)

Brian Atwood Pumps.  I love the color and look at that heel.  Very unique.

Dresses at Saks.  Oh, how I love color!

Rock and Republic Blouse via Kohls.  Very well made and I am loving the color.  Definitely will be eyeing more items in this color.

I asked her to smile, and she gives me this, lol.  Love this child.

Ok, last shot of my fav purchases from Nordstrom.  I love pink and this blazer really did it for me.  I was wanting a Naven blazer but this one is even better!

Till Next Time.

Always Lovely,

Be Thankful

Today is a new day. Be thankful for all that you have. We don't realize how truly blessed we are!

Yes, we all have struggles. Big and small. They all hurt no matter the size.

Even I still struggle. When I'm having a bad day, I think back at all the times when I was in a deep dark place. Life sometimes takes us places we don't want to go. We have to face the hard cold truth if we like it or not. My main problem has always been my attitude. I'm an opinionated, type A personality. I am outgoing and love to be around people. When I went through my struggle with my hair, I really closed off a big part of who I was. I buried the things that made me special. I would keep to myself. And with each passing day, I would look in the mirror and not recognize the person standing in front of it. God was teaching me and molding me through those years. He made me realize that without Him in my life, I was a huge mess.

Nothing ever satisfied me. In those moments, I surrendered. It didn't matter if I was at work, I would run to the bathroom and call out to Him. If I was driving home, He was right there. I didn't care if I was a sobbing mess or if I was wearing my most expensive silk dress, if I needed my Father, there was no turning back.

Even now there are times I forget or bury the miracles that have occurred in my life.

Today as I looked in the mirror, I was filled with emotion.

My hair. It's so long. Thank you Lord for this miracle! Thank you for the constant reminder in front of me of how real you truly are.

And I also want to Thank God today for healing me as a little girl. I had a crossed eye/lazy eye and had to wear glasses to see somewhat better. I had SO much faith that I would be healed, and I was! One day I will share that story.

The faith of a child is great! I look back at my younger self and I'm astonished at how much I knew the word of God was real and alive. I did not question it. As adults we over analyze everything. We really need to go back to that simple place of "seek and you shall find".

His love is beyond this world. Oh, I just am sometimes overwhelmed with it....

Be thankful for the good and the bad.  It makes us who we are.

P.S.  Here are some cute shots of Maria. She is 20 months and is amazing. She is full of life and loves reading. I read like 10 books a day to her, sometimes more. She loves playing with her dolls, and every time we go somewhere, she always has to bring one along for the ride.  . Enjoy :)

Till Next Time.

Always Lovely,

Luba
